Termination dates and notice periods
- Common dates: 31 March, 30 June or 30 September
- Minimum notice: 3 months for residential (CO Art. 266a)
Official cantonal form is mandatory
Landlords must use the official cantonal form (CO Art. 266l). Termination by email is invalid.
